MEGlobal announces October Asian contract price for MEG

Ethylene glycol manufacturer MEGlobal has announced its Asian Contract Price (ACP) for monoethylene glycol (MEG) for October, 2013.
The ACP for MEG will be US$ 1220 per metric tonne CFR Asian main ports for October 2013 arrival, which is US$ 10 per metric tonne more than the company’s September 2013 ACP price of US$ 1210 per metric tonne.
The increase in October ACP reflects the short term supply/demand situation in the Asian market.
Established in 2004, MEGlobal is a joint venture between The Dow Chemical Company of the United States, and Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) of Kuwait.
