Ethylene prices remain stable in European market

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices plunged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1475/ton to US$ 1480/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1455/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market dipped and were quoted in the range of US$ 1480/ton to US$ 1485/ton.
 
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1060/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1050/ton to US$ 1055/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 7625/ton to RMB 7675/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed a mixed trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1395/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Far East Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1235/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined and were assessed in the range of 53.00 cents/pound to 53.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international and domestic market, and were assessed at US$ 1440/ton and €1115/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices dipped in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices were assessed at US$ 1065/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7775/ton to RMB 7825/ton.
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices maintained a steady trend and were quoted in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1460/ton, and some deals were discussed between US$ 1410/ton and US$ 1450/ton. In the Far East Asian market, selling offers remained stable at US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1450/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1400/ton and US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices maintained a steady trend and were assessed at RMB 9925/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1340/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 9450/ton to RMB 9500/ton.
 
PSF prices surged in Asian markets. In the Far East Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1500/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices surged and were quoted in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY maintained a steady trend and were quoted at RMB 10500/ton, RMB 12250/ton, and RMB 10650/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices of POY, DTY, and FDY increased and were assessed at US$ 1465/ton, US$ 1705/ton, and US$ 1470/ton, respectively.
