“This show has surpassed our expectations, and all our affiliates are extremely pleased with the turn out,” said Susan Mocarski, USA Merchandiser for Lenzing. “Everyone saw steady traffic throughout the three days, and opened new accounts.”

Furthermore, Lenzing and LA TEXTILE co-hosted an Opening Night Reception, Monday September 30, in the Penthouse. The event included appetizers from Mendocino Farms, an organic wine bar from Frey Vineyards, and DJ Lead One spun live beats.

In addition to textile and design resources, the Show offered attendees a packed schedule of complimentary seminars presented by industry luminaries Design Options, Stylesight, WGSN, and Cotton Inc, as well as insightful business seminars from Lenzing, California Fashion Association (CFA), Fashion Business Inc. (FBI), Fox Rothschild LLP, FAB Counsel, Matte Black, plus others.

Designers were also encouraged to explore and seek inspiration from the Trend Forum in the main lobby, co-curated by Design Options and LA TEXTILE, featuring the six overall trends for Fall/Winter 14/15: Winter Wonderland, 70s Revival, Model Movement, Abstract Mode, Join the Club, and Cross Culture. The Trend Forum also featured dynamic F/W 14/15 color directions, offering the industry's most innovative, dynamic collaborative platform for driving superior creativity and design execution.

“Exhibitors and attendees alike were extremely pleased with this edition of LA TEXTILE,” said Oscar Ben Rodriguez, Senior Trade Show Producer at the CMC. “Traffic was steady throughout, and quality resources were plentiful. It was overall very successful.”
