PX prices decline in Southeast Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices plunged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1445/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1475/ton to US$ 1480/ton.
 
PTA prices remained unchanged in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1035/ton to US$ 1040/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1035/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market maintained a steady trend and were quoted in the range of US$ 1030/ton to US$ 1035/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained unchanged and were assessed in the range of RMB 7525/ton to RMB 7575/ton.
 
Ethylene prices maintained a steady trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices and remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1470/ton. In the Far East Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1365/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined and were offered in the range of 43.50 cents/pound to 44.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international market, while it declined in the domestic market and were offered at US$ 1300/ton and €1025/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices surged in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices were quoted at US$ 1092/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices swelled and were assessed in the range of US$ 1095/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 8000/ton to RMB 8050/ton.
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the Far East Asian market, selling offers remained unchanged at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1420/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1380/ton and US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips price dipped and were quoted at RMB 9550/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices maintained a steady trend in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices plunged and were quoted in the range of RMB 9975/ton to RMB 1125/ton.
 
PSF prices surged in Asian markets. In the Far East Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1505/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1405/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices swelled and were assessed in the range of RMB 9925/ton to RMB 9975/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained unchanged and were quoted at RMB 10100/ton, RMB 12025/ton, and RMB 10325/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices of POY, DTY, and FDY remained stable and were quoted at US$ 1405/ton, US$ 1675/ton, and US$ 1425/ton, respectively.
