Only 15 of P&G’s more than 82,000 suppliers and agencies received this highest honor, which was presented at the October 23 P&G External Business Partner Recognition Dinner. In addition, the Company received its fifth consecutive Excellence Award from P&G.
Daniel Halftermeyer, President of Albany’s Machine Clothing business segment, said, “The Albany team is extremely honored to receive this prestigious recognition from Procter & Gamble.
"Our commitment first and foremost is to deliver value to our customers through innovative products, service, and solutions that exceed their expectations and support their business goals. Everyone in our organization is intensely focused on that commitment.”
The Company became a supplier to P&G in 1957 and the current partnership was formalized in 1991. Albany International is an exclusive supplier to a proprietary process related to the production of the P&G Charmin, Bounty and Puffs brands.
In selecting Albany International for this year’s award, P&G cited the following achievements regarding the Company’s performance: consistently acts as if P&G’s success determines their own; delivered total value solutions (innovation, quality, cost) by actively finding ways to ensure P&G Family Care’s competitive advantage; demonstrated strong commitment to support P&G’s initiative pipeline by investing in new technology to streamline operations and continuously improve quality, supply chain time and business continuity; and provided a dedicated, highly capable commercial and technical development team to ensure excellent collaboration across all functions.”
