BG PET chip prices dip in Southeast Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices maintained a steady trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1415/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PX prices remained unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1400/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1425/ton.
 
PTA prices maintained a steady trend in Asian regions. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the Far East Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 995/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 7300/ton to RMB 7350/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed a mixed trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices plunged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1415/ton. In the Far East Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1305/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices surged and were quoted in the range of 51.50 cents/pound to 52.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international as well as domestic market and were quoted at US$ 1235/ton and € 975/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices maintained a steady trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices remained stable and were quoted at US$ 1045/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices maintained a steady trend and were assessed in the range of US$ 1035/ton to US$ 1040/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained unchanged in the range of RMB 7475/ton to RMB 7525/ton.
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET chip prices decline and were assessed in the range of US$ US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In the Far East Asian market, selling offers plunged at US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1390/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1350/ton and US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chip prices remained stable and were assessed at RMB 9600/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chip prices decreased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices declined in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET chip prices maintained a steady trend and were quoted in the range of RMB 9150/ton to RMB 9200/ton.
