International home textiles buyers to visit Valencia

About 20 international buyers from various countries like Colombia, Croatia, India, Lebanon, Mexico, Morocco, and the United Arab Emirates would be visiting the Spanish autonomous province of Valencia from November 26-28, 2013, to set up business contacts with domestic home textile companies, ‘Home Textiles from Spain’ said in a statement.

The trade mission of international buyers is being organized by the Textile Entrepreneurs Association of Valencia (ATEVAL) through the Trade Promotion Committee on ‘Home Textiles from Spain’.

The Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX) is supporting the activity organized by ATEVAL’s Department of Trade Promotion.

Leila Bachetarzi, director of ATEVAL’s Department of Trade Promotion said they had worked closely with the Commercial Offices of the Spanish Embassies in the seven countries for identifying and selecting the potential buyers and tracking the invitations, to develop a customized work schedule for each company.

Under the mission, international buyers of home textiles will travel to Valencia for buying Spanish home textiles and would have individual meetings with Spanish companies, thus promoting business contacts between Spain and the seven potential markets.

Organizing such trade missions would reinforce the promotional and commercial activities conducted during the year and would also strengthen contacts made under ‘Home Textiles from Spain’ at various trade fairs and exhibitions, Leila Bachetarzi said.
