Novozymes signs deal for clean textile production in China

Susanne Nors, Commercial Counselor at the Danish Embassy, said Novozymes is known in the field of advanced biotechnology for the textile industry and for wastewater solutions, and the Danish biological solutions can provide opportunities for the Chinese kitting industry to develop further.
Novozymes has over 60 years of experience in the textile industry and the company will focus on the need of the Chinese knitting industry and develop new enzymes and micro-organism solutions by closely cooperating with the Chinese partners, with an aim to boost technological innovation and industrial upgrading of the Chinese knitting industry, said Michael Christiansen, regional president (Asia-Pacific) Novozymes.
