PTA & MEG prices rise in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1435/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices surged and were offered at US$ 1420/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1425/ton.

Ethylene prices were steady in the European international as well as in European domestic markets and were assessed at US$ 1205/ton and € 950/ton, respectively.
