200 textile suppliers partake in US Showtime fair

More than 200 exhibitors from Germany, Italy, Brazil and the US participated in the recently held Showtime Fabric Market fair in High Point city of the US state of North Carolina.

Organised by the International Textile Market Association (ITMA), the bi-annual fair is a supplier trade show for the home textiles and furnishing industry, with over hundreds of manufacturers of home décor and furnishings attending the show.

Catherine Morsell, executive director of ITMA, said that Showtime fair is a renowned venue in the US for buyers and sellers of decorative coverings to meet and exchange contacts as well as establish trade relations, and every year exhibitors keep on introducing new and innovative line of products under the home décor sector.

Around 800 firms operating in the home textiles sector such as furniture and other home furnishings manufacturers, apparel and costuming, fabric retailers, fashion accessory manufacturers, workroom suppliers, window coverings, and more attended the event.

As part of the four-day trade event, participants were also given an opportunity to attend several educational forums and seminars, where they could interact with customers, and exchange information regarding latest trends in the home textiles sector.
