PX & MEG prices decline in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1435/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices increased and were quoted at US$ 1420/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1445/ton.
 
PTA prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices kept steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1005/ton to US$ 1010/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1005/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices kept steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 7375/ton to RMB 7425/ton.  
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian market, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1335/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were offered in the range of 55.50 cents/pound to 56.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were unchanged in the European international as well as in the domestic market and were quoted at US$ 1270/ton and € 950/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices decreased and were offered at US$ 1037/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1040/ton to US$ 1045/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 7875/ton to RMB 7925/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chip prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers kept unchanged in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1380/ton, while talked prices were quoted between US$ 1340/ton and US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chip prices kept stable and were assessed at RMB 9525/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chip prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices kept inert in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chip prices stayed steady in the range of RMB 9050/ton to RMB 9100/ton.
 
PSF prices showed steady trend in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$1510/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 9900/ton to RMB 9950/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices ofPolyester POY, DTY and FDY remained steady at RMB 9900/ton, RMB 11700/ton, and RMB 10175/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY kept steady at US$ 1385/ ton, US$ 1635/ton, and US$ 1410/ton, respectively.
