Karl Mayer adds RSJ 4/1 to make fine warp-knitted fabrics

It has been possible to improve the productivity and flexibility of the latest RSJ 4/1 considerably, compared to the previous model, by making the appropriate modifications. The technical changes include, amongst other things, separate threading for the jacquard bars – a step which permits differential movement of the two knitting elements in the forward position.

Because of this separate bar movement the RSJ 4/1 can produce patterned net grounds such as those spotnet qualities established on the market at the moment, reaching high operating speeds at the same time.

Further modifications to improve the design range include increasing the maximum repeat on the pattern disc from 12 to 24 per revolution and converting a line-dependent sequential mode of operation using KAMCOS/Multi-Speed.

The high-speed, versatile Rascheltronic has a working width of 130" and has been offered in E 28 gauge since 2011. As of now this high-performance raschel machine is also available in E 32 gauge.

As a result of extending the gauge range the latest RSJ 4/1 can now be purchased with the same range of fittings as its predecessor. In addition we have a machine with an excellent cost/benefit ratio, in particular for the production of fine underwear with all-over patterning or delicate lace ribbons.
