Digital textile conference to be held on Feb 26 in Delhi

Following the overwhelming response received from a digital textile workshop held in Surat in August 2013, Inkjet India Forum will host a Digital Textile Conference – Inkjet India 2014 in New Delhi on February 26, 2014.

Almost 15 years since its evolution in the face of challenges, digital textile printing technology is still evolving. It is estimated that the total global textile printing market is valued at $43 billion with digital printing accounting for around 1.5% or around 645 million sq mts.

So far pace of technology adoption, market and the supply chain challenges have kept digital textile printing from truly going mainstream. But with recent developments providing stability and speed to the technology and bottlenecks being gradually overcome, digital textile printing is on its way to grab a major market share from traditional printing technologies.

Recent studies indicate that digital textile printing is progressively growing worldwide and volumes are expected to grow to 1.4 billion sq mts by 2017.

Inkjet India 2014 will present a powerful panel of experts who not only have a deep background in digital textile printing but also hail from the field of textile & fashion designing.

This conference will determine the business potential which digital textile printing provides in the areas of apparel, fashion, home textiles, garments & soft signage. The conference will witness participation from leading global digital printing technology suppliers like Sensient Imaging Technologies, MS srl, SPG Prints and others.

The Inkjet India conference series is designed to keep the inkjet industry updated with latest technological developments and understand the market trends. It also aims to introduce the industry to innovative applications and provide training to the various stakeholders involved in digital textile & industrial inkjet areas.

Delegates attending Inkjet India 2014 will get an opportunity to attend sessions like - Innovation in Digital Textile Printing, Digital Printing for Home Textiles, Industry Forum, Supplier Displays, Networking Sessions, etc. 

The conference will give one an in-depth technical understanding of digital textile printing and also an opportunity to network with industry experts & colleagues. It will also be a great opportunity for fashion brands, designers, textile supply chain specialists, merchandisers & buying houses to network with leading digital printing houses in Delhi.
