PTA prices increase in Far East Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices kept unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1425/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices remained steady and were assessed at US$ 1410/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market plunged down and were offered in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1435/ton.
 
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices increased and were quoted at US$ 995/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable in the range of RMB 7350/ton to RMB 7400/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed sentiments in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1385/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were quoted in the range of 58.00 cents/pound to 59.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices increased in the European international and domestic markets to US$ 1260/ton and € 955/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices increased and were quoted at US$ 1040/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices stayed steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 7575/ton to RMB 7625/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chip prices kept steady in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers remained stable at US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1390/ton, while talked prices were assessed between US$ 1350/ton and US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chip prices remained unchanged and were quoted at RMB 9450/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chip prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chip prices remained steady and were offered in the range of RMB 9025/ton to RMB 9075/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$1510/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were stable in the range of RMB 9825/ton to RMB 9875/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained steady and were quoted at RMB 9800/ton, RMB 11500/ton and RMB 10400/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY were stable at US$ 1370/ton, US$ 1615/ton and US$ 1445/ton, respectively.
