Locally owned and operated Tampa Bay business, ColDesi, Inc. celebrates its 15th year anniversary in 2014, with continued increase in revenue year over year. ColDesi, Inc. is a Tampa, Florida based company specializing in the apparel decorating industry.

The equipment sold is focused on producing goods for the custom t-shirt business, cheer and booster clothing and corporate logo wear.

Apparel decorating equipment machinery sales include commercial embroidery machines, t shirt printing machines and “bling machines”, which create custom rhinestone and sequin designs.

In addition to its new products, ColDesi management attributes their success to the number of startups powered by entrepreneurs getting into the custom t-shirt and apparel business and choosing digital printing over screen printing.

Also a key factor, according to Linda Shahvaran, General Manager, is that almost 50% of ColDesi employees have been with the company more than 5 years. That expertise, according to Ms. Shahvaran, makes all the difference in customer care.

2013 highlights include:

The launch of the new ProSpangle machines. ProSpangle machines create spangles transfers, which are an improvement over threadless sequins because they have NO HOLES, are used for ‘bling’ applications that are heat pressed onto garments. The ProSpangle purports to be the most profitable bling machine on the market due to its speed and the low cost of supplies.

Implementation of Online Training – Coldesi implemented live online training for its embroidery machines, t shirt printing machines and bling machines in 2013, setting a new industry standard. Since ColDesi customers are from around the country having a high quality remote training option saves them time and money.
