PX prices remained stable in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) showed a mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices maintained a steady trend and were quoted in the range of US$ 1295/ton to US$ 1300/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices increased and were assessed at US$ 1280/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1295/ton to US$ 1300/ton.
 
PTA prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices remained unchanged and were assessed in the range of US$ 955/ton to US$ 960/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were quoted at US$ 955/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained unchanged and were assessed in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 955/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices maintained a steady trend and were assessed in the range of RMB 6700/ton to RMB 6750/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained unchanged and were assessed at US$ 1400/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined and were quoted in the range of 56.50 cents/pound to 57.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices decreased in the European international market, whereas it remained stable in European domestic market and were assessed at US$ 1230/ton and € 950/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices remained stable and were quoted at US$ 1010/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 7250/ton to RMB 7280/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices plunged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers were assessed in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1330/ton and US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 8800/ton to RMB 8850/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices also decreased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1150/ton to US$ 1180/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were assessed in the range of RMB 9000/ton to RMB 9050/ton.
 
PSF prices maintained a steady trend in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1520/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 9625/ton to RMB 9675/ton.

In Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices maintained a steady trend and were quoted at RMB 9550/ton, RMB 11400/ton and RMB 10200/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices of POY, DTY, and FDY prices remained unchanged and were assessed at US$ 1335/ton, US$ 1595/ton, and US$ 1420/ton, respectively.
