Ethylene prices decline in Southeast Asian market

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1335/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices jumped and were quoted at US$ 1310/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1325/ton.
 
PTA prices maintained a steady trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices remained unchanged and were assessed in the range of US$ 955/ton to US$ 960/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA price remained stable and were quoted at US$ 955/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market maintained a steady trend and were assessed in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 955/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 6700/ton to RMB 6750/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed a mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices declined and were quoted in the range off US$ 1385/ton to US$ 1390/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained unchanged and were assessed at US$ 1400/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices decreased and were assessed in the range of 51.50 cents/pound to 52.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international as well as domestic market and were quoted at US$ 1215/ton and € 945/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG price plunged and were quoted at US$ 1010/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG price remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 7150/ton to RMB 7185/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers were quoted at US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton, while talked prices were assessed between US$ 1330/ton and US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 8800/ton to RMB 8850/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1150/ton to US$ 1180/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were assessed in the range of RMB 8700/ton to RMB 8750/ton.
 
PSF prices maintained a steady trend in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1515/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1415/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 9625/ton to RMB 9675/ton.
 
In Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained stable and were assessed at RMB 9550/ton, RMB 11400/ton and RMB 10200/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices of POY, DTY, and FDY prices remained unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1330/ton, US$ 1590/ton, and US$ 1415/ton, respectively.
