PTA prices dipped in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices decreased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices plunged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1325/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices declined and were assessed at US$ 1300/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1335/ton.
 
PTA prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices plunged and were quoted in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 955/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices decreased and were assessed at US$ 950/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 955/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices dipped and were assessed in the range of RMB 6600/ton to RMB 6650/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were assessed in the range off US$ 1385/ton to US$ 1390/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1400/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of 51.50 cents/pound to 52.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the European international as well as domestic market and were quoted at US$ 1215/ton and € 945/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices maintained a steady trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices declined and were quoted at US$ 985/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 7050/ton to RMB 7100/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton, and some deals were discussed at US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers were quoted at US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton, while talked prices were assessed between US$ 1330/ton and US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 8600/ton to RMB 8675/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1150/ton to US$ 1180/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were assessed in the range of RMB 8700/ton to RMB 8750/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1515/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1415/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 9575/ton to RMB 9625/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained stable and were quoted at RMB 9550/ton, RMB 11350/ton, and RMB 10150/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices of POY, DTY and FDY remained stable at US$ 1330/ton, US$ 1585/ton and US$ 1405/ton, respectively.
