Airweave provides portable bedding to global Olympic teams
Feb '14
Airweave inc., Japan’s leading manufacturer of premium bedding toppers and pillows, announced that it has become an official supplier to multi-national Olympic delegations, which include the United States (U.S. Olympic Committee), Austria (Olympic Austria GmbH), France (French National Olympic and Sports Committee), Germany (German Olympic Sports Confederation), and Switzerland (Swiss Olympic Association) for the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi.
Airweave is supplying each country’s Olympic team with their own portable bedding toppers to support athletes’ best performance. Armed with Airweave’s portable toppers, these athletes are benefiting from a high-quality sleep experience.
After first launching in Japan in 2007, Airweave has become Japan’s leading producer of mattress toppers and supplier to the world’s top athletes, luxury hotels and first-class airline cabins. In Jan 2013, Airweave became an official partner of the Japanese Olympic Committee in the category of mattress pads, pillows and cushions.
Now, including all newly signed Olympic teams, Airweave’s bedding toppers will be delivered to approximately 1,000 of the world’s top athletes, ensuring high-quality sleep and supporting aspiring Olympic medalists.
4 key benefits of the Airweave bedding topper
-Highly resilient bedding material allows you to turn over more easily and maintain deeper sleep.
-Excellent dispersion of body pressure prevents physical strain and minimizes peak pressure points.
-Breathability of core material helps to dissipate heat and moisture generated by body during sleep.
-Mattress cover and core material are easily washable with water.
About Airweave
Airweave’s bedding toppers employ the latest technology and materials in the bedding industry to produce an innovative design featuring 3-dimensional entwined resin fibers, which provide high-resilience comfort and support to the whole body when resting. With 90% of its core material being air, placing an Airweave mattress on top of any existing mattress can provide a “sleeping on air” experience.
