Turkish textile exporters to visit Kenya in March'14

With the aim of increasing the market share of Turkish products, including textile and apparel, in the Eastern African country of Kenya, the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), along with the support of the Meclisimiz Organization of Turkey are organizing a business trip to the Kenyan capital city of Nairobi, from March 17 to 21, 2014.

According to a statement issued by TIM, the business trip is being conducted with the objective of increasing exports of various Turkish products, including textiles and garments, to Kenya, as well as providing opportunities to entrepreneurs to improve the bilateral trade relations between the two countries.

Turkish entrepreneurs producing various goods including, textiles, garments, floor coverings, home textiles etc., would be visiting the country and showcasing their latest products.

More than 25 entrepreneurs would be part of the delegation representing various sectors, and TIM would also be hosting several business meetings with Kenyan businessmen operating in various sectors for providing an opportunity to Turkish entrepreneurs to establish business contacts with them.

The TIM and the Meclisimiz Organization has been organizing several such business trips to various countries such as Romania, Iraq, Qatar and Lithuania in order to promote Turkish products in international markets as well as establish trade relations with these countries.
