The new project is being built on an area of nearly 80,000 sq m at a cost of 1.75 billion yuan, and is the first such large-scale investment made by Xinxiang Chemical Fiber, Shao Jin said.

Once operational, the plant will significantly enhance the company’s economic strength and also make a positive contribution to economic and social development in Xinxiang, the statement adds.

Shao Jin informed that in future, the company will continue to broaden the areas of development, extend the industrial chain, increase R&D investment, and enhance innovation capability to have a leading position in fiber technology.
