The Sri Lankan capital city of Colombo is all geared up to host three concurrent textile expos, the 5th International Exhibition on Textile & Apparel Technology, Machinery and Related Services (TexTech 2014), the 5th Colombo International Yarn and Fabric Show, and the 17th Dye and Chemical International Expo, all scheduled to be held from March 6 to 8, at the Sri Lankan Exhibition and Convention Center.
Organized by CEMS-Global US, the only multinational exhibition organizer in Sri Lanka, the three comprehensive international exhibitions are focused on the entire textile and garment sector of Sri Lanka, and aims to bring the entire textile value chain under one roof.
The TexTech fair is considered as a gateway for the entire textile and garment sector of South and Southeast Asia. The fair is a perfect business to business (B2B) platform for textile and garment firms of countries such as India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia and Singapore.
The 5th Colombo International Yarn and Fabric Show is a comprehensive exhibition for overseas yarn, fabric and textile manufacturers as well as exporters focusing on the textile and apparel industry of Sri Lanka. The fair would showcase the latest innovations in yarn and fabric.
The 17th Dye and Chemical International Expo is an international exhibition devoted to focus on all kinds of dyes and fine specialty chemicals for the Sri Lankan textile industry. It’s a perfect B2B platform for textile industries of countries such as India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia and Singapore
The exhibitions are aimed at increasing the share of Sri Lankan enterprises in the global market as well as attract foreign investments for the high potential textile and garment industry of the country.
