EXPO 4.0 attracts 14,682 visitors from 40 countries

This underscores the unique selling proposition of TV TecStyle Visions. Of all the visitors, 81% said they were planning to come to TV 2016and 91% would recommend the trade fair to others. The quality of the visitors remains very high: 92% are the purchasing and procurement decision-makers in their company. The visitor survey also reflects their high level of planned investment. 

For example, 90% of the decision-makers have concrete purchasing and/or investment plans. Of these, 67% want to invest within the next 6 months. This year again, everyone found the highlights of the extensive supporting programme very interesting. The daily fashion shows and the Laser Discovery Tour each attracted the attention of 15% of visitors. Another 14% found inspiration in the entries for the Golden Shirt Award competition. 
 
The right decision:  wetec and DS TEC impress in one hall 
wetec 2014, which took place in hall 8 at Messe Stuttgart, impressed not only the exhibitors but the visitors as well – who gave the trade fair an overall mark of 2.0. This result shows that the trade fair for advertising technology, digital printing and illuminated advertising continued the success of launch year 2012. 
 
The visitor quality is just as high: 91% are involved in their company’s purchasing and procurement decisions. Another 86% of these decision-makers came to wetec 2014 with purchase plans and of these, 64% would like to invest within the next six months.
 
Advertising technology, digital printing and wrap advertising were the top 3 areas of interest for the visitors: 76% were there for advertising technology and 50% for digital printing. Almost one-third of the visitors were particularly interested in vehicle wraps. It was no wonder that 40% of the visitors considered the WRAPandSTYLE area as the top highlight of all the special areas. 
 
The importance of wetec will continues to rise, according to 45% of the visitors, 26% of whom receive their sector information at wetec only and do not attend any other trade fairs. Very encouraging: a solid 70% report that they want to attend wetec 2016. And the fact that over 80% would recommend wetec to others speaks in favour of the convincing exhibitor mix and the overall concept.
 
Around two-thirds of the German visitors came from Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg; overall, 31% travelled more than 300 kilometres to attend the trade fair. The share of non-German visitors, who primarily came from Austria and Switzerland, rose from 7% to 10% against 2012. 
 
In order to support the increasingly important link between advertising technology, digital printing and illuminated advertising on the one hand, and digital signage on the other, DS TEC joined wetec in hall 8.
 
The majority of DS exhibitors, who encountered high visitor interest in their products and solutions, were very pleased with this decision. The audience of many of the lectures by invidis consulting, a consulting firm to the sector, was filled to the last seat.
 
In total, 148 companies exhibited at wetec and DS TEC – 127 came from Germany and the remaining 21 from abroad.
