MEG prices increase in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices kept inert in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1235/ton to US$ 1240/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices kept unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1220/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1245/ton.
 
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 915/ton to US$ 920/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices increased and were quoted at US$ 915/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 905/ton to US$ 910/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices surged and were quoted in the range of RMB 6500/ton to RMB 6550/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1425/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices stayed stable and were offered at US$ 1375/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the range of 51.50 cents/pound to 52.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices declined in the European international market to US$ 1200/ton, while they remained stable in European domestic market at €905/ton.
  
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were quoted at US$ 960/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices decreased and were offered in the range of US$ 945/ton to US$ 950/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 6850/ton to RMB 6900/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1310/ton to US$ 1350/ton, and some deals were quoted in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers remained steady in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton, while talked prices were assessed between US$ 1340/ton and US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices decreased and were quoted in the range of RMB 8850/ton to RMB 8900/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1140/ton to US$ 1180/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1240/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 8150/ton to RMB 8200/ton.
 
PSF prices maintained steady trend in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1480/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 8800/ton to RMB 8850/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and DTY increased to RMB 9100/ton and RMB 11000/ton, while FDY prices kept unchanged at RMB 9500/ton. In the export market, offers for POY and DTY surged to US$ 1230/ton and US$ 1490/ton, while FDY prices kept steady at US$ 1475/ton.
