Textile & apparel machinery fair opens in Vietnam's HCM

The textile and garment machinery and equipments fair, Vietnam Textile and Garment Industry Expo (SAIGON TEX 2014), has opened today at the Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Center in the Vietnamese capital of Ho Chi Minh (HCM) city.

Organized by the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), with the support of Association Garment, Textile, Embroidery and Knitting of Ho Chi Minh city (AGTEK), the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Vietnam National Textile and Garment Corporation (VINATEX) and the Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the fair is aimed at showcasing the latest products in the textile and garment machineries and equipments.

Scheduled to run till April 13, more than 500 domestic and international exhibitors from different countries including Belgium, Czech Republic, China, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, Turkey and South Korea are displaying their latest textile and garment machineries and technologies to around 10,000 visitors attending the show.

Also going on at the Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Center, is the international garment and fabric fair, Vietnam Saigon Fabric and Garment Accessories Expo, which is being held concurrently with the SAIGON TEX fair. Exhibitors at the fair are displaying various fabric products and garment accessories.

Exhibitors at the SAIGON TEX fair are showcasing various textile and garment machineries and equipments including textile dyeing, printing, finishing and treatment machineries, spindles, bearings, spinning, knitting and weaving machineries, sewing machines, fabric cutting technologies, embroidery machines and more.
