BG PET chips prices drop in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices kept inert and were offered in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices declined and were assessed at US$ 1200/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1225/ton.
 
PTA prices remained steady the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices kept steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 890/ton to US$ 895/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were assessed at US$ 890/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 885/ton to US$ 890/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices were stable in the range of RMB 6275/ton to RMB 6325/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1465/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices stayed stable and were quoted at US$ 1370/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were quoted in the range of 53.00 cents/pound to 53.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices declined in the European international market to US$ 1170/ton, while they remained steady in domestic markets at € 870/ton.
 
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were offered at US$ 930/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 915/ton to US$ 920/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 6750/ton to RMB 6800/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers kept unchanged in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices plunged and were assessed in the range of RMB 8750/ton to RMB 8775/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were offered in the range of RMB 8225/ton to RMB 8275/ton.
 
PSF prices maintained steady trend in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1480/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were steady in the range of RMB 8825/ton to RMB 8875/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained steady and were assessed at RMB 9200/ton, RMB 10800/ton and RMB 9600/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY remained stable at US$ 1245/ton, US$ 1465/ton, and US$ 1290/ton, respectively.
