FG PET chips prices increase in Chinese market

Paraxylene (PX) prices showed varied trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices decreased and were quoted at US$ 1195/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market plunged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton.
 
PTA prices maintained steady trend the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were offered in the range of US$ 890/ton to US$ 895/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained steady and were quoted at US$ 890/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market kept unchanged in the range of US$ 885/ton to US$ 890/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 6250/ton to RMB 6300/ton.
 
Ethylene prices maintained steady trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices kept unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1465/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices stayed inert and were quoted at US$ 1370/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were quoted in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1170/ton and € 870/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices stayed steady and were quoted at US$ 930/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 920/ton to US$ 925/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained steady in the range of RMB 6750/ton to RMB 6800/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips kept unchanged in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers remained steady in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton, while talked prices were offered in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices kept steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 8750/ton to RMB 8775/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 8250/ton to RMB 8300/ton.
 
PSF prices kept inert in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1480/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices dropped and were quoted in the range of RMB8725/ton to RMB 8775/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices increased and were assessed at RMB 9250/ton, RMB 10900/ton and RMB 9650/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY surged to US$ 1250/ton, US$ 1475/ton, and US$ 1295/ton, respectively.
