PTA & Polyester FDY prices rise in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1215/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices remained steady and were quoted at US$ 1190/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1215/ton.
 
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices surged and were offered in the range of US$ 890/ton to US$ 895/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices increased and were quoted at US$ 890/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 880/ton to US$ 885/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 6275/ton to RMB 6325/ton.
 
Ethylene prices maintained steady trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices kept steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1465/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained stable and were quoted at US$ 1370/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined and were offered in the range of 52.50 cents/pound to 53.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept stable in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were offered at US$ 1170/ton and € 860/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices surged in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices inched up and were quoted at US$ 940/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 925/ton to US$ 930/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices were stable in the range of RMB 6775/ton to RMB 6825/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips increased marginally and were in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers rose and were assessed in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton, while talked prices were offered in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 8750/ton to RMB 8775/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices kept inert and were offered in the range of RMB 8300/ton to RMB 8350/ton.
 
PSF prices maintained steady trend in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1480/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 8800/ton to RMB 8850/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and DTY remained steady at RMB 9350/ton and RMB 11075/ton, respectively, while FDY prices increased to RMB 9675/ton. In the export market, offers for POY and DTY remained steady at US$ 1265/ton and US$ 1505/ton, respectively, while FDY prices surged to US$ 1300/ton.
