Messe Frankfurt adds Limantour to oversee French fairs

As part of the strategy for development of its exhibitions, Texworld and Apparelsourcing Paris, Messe Frankfurt France has engaged the services of Jean-François Limantour as a strategic and operations consultant.

An expert in strategies for international development in the textile sectors and fashion industry Texaas Consulting), Jean-François Limantour is also president of the Euro-Mediterranean Circle of Textile and Clothing Directors (CEDITH), president of the Europe-Vietnam Alliance, a new association, the goal of which is to strengthen sector-based relations between the European Union and Indochina (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Burma), and administrator for various companies.

Jean-François Limantour has been active in the textile and clothing sector for several decades. He was Secretary General for the French Garment Industries Union (Union Française des Industries de l’Habillement) from 1976 to 1992, then Director General of the European Garment Industry Association in Brussels.

He acted as French advisor on foreign trade for ten years, was president of the European Observatory for Textiles & Clothing (Brussels) and worked at marketing offices for French textiles and clothing abroad (USA, Middle East). He was Advisor for the Agadir Agreement Management Unit (Amman, Jordan) and regularly conducts studies and strategic missions in the Meditteranean region, Eastern Europe and in the Indian Ocean region.

It is the event professionals in the textile and clothing sectors cannot afford to miss and is held at the Parc des Expositions Paris Le Bourget.

With 30,000 visitors and over 1600 international exhibitors each year, the two shows jointly offer excellent value in Europe in terms of creativity, quality and price for every textile need: fabrics, trimmings, clothing, accessories and yarns.
