Paraxylene prices show mixed trend in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1205/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices kept unchanged and were offered at US$ 1190/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1215/ton.
 
PTA prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 890/ton to US$ 895/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were offered at US$ 890/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 885/ton to US$ 890/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 6225/ton to RMB 6275/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices stayed steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1465/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices stayed stable and were assessed at US$ 1370/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were quoted in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept inert in the European international market at US$ 1170/ton, and increased in the European domestic market to € 865/ton.
 
MEG prices maintained steady trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices kept unchanged and were quoted at US$ 940/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices surged and were offered in the range of US$ 930/ton to US$ 935/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 6725/ton to RMB 6755/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained stable in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers remained steady in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton, while talked prices were offered in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices stayed steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 8750/ton to RMB 8775/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 8300/ton to RMB 8350/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1480/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased in the rangeof RMB 8800/ton to RMB 8850/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices kept inert and were quoted at RMB 9350/ton, RMB 11075/ton and RMB 9675/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY remained steady at US$ 1265/ton, US$ 1505/ton, and US$ 1300/ton, respectively.
