Shima Seiki to exhibit 3D design system 'APEX3' at SIMATEX

Leading computerized knitting machine manufacturer SHIMA SEIKI MFG., LTD. of Wakayama, Japan will participate in the SIMATEX exhibition in Buenos Aires, Argentina this May.
SHIMA SEIKI will exhibit a wide range of its products, including new proposals in seam-free WHOLEGARMENT knitting technology that realizes an alternative to labor-intensive manufacturing in the South American market.
Also on display will be the latest version of SHIMA SEIKI’s “SDS-ONE APEX3” 3D design system. APEX3 is at the core of SHIMA SEIKI’s “Total Fashion System” which offers comprehensive support of the knit production process from planning and production to sales promotion, as well as the capability for Virtual Sampling.
Ultra-realistic simulation allows Virtual Sampling to minimize the costly time- and resource-consuming sample-making process.
