MEG prices decline in Chinese international market

Paraxylene (PX) prices kept inert in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1195/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices remained stable and were assessed at US$ 1170/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1195/ton.
 
PTA prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 875/ton to US$ 880/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices kept unchanged and were quoted at US$ 875/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were offered in the range of US$ 870/ton to US$ 875/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 6100/ton to RMB 6150/ton.
 
Ethylene prices stayed stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1465/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained unchanged and were offered at US$ 1385/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were offered in the range of 56.50 cents/pound to 57.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in the European international as well as domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1155/ton and € 855/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices dropped and were quoted at US$ 900/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices decreased and were offered in the range of US$ 895/ton to US$ 900/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained steady in the range of RMB 6600/ton to RMB 6650/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers were in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices kept inert and were assessed in the range of RMB 8200/ton to RMB 8250/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices kept inert and were offered in the range of RMB 8200/ton to RMB 8250/ton.
 
PSF prices kept steady in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1470/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained steady in the range of RMB 8725/ton to RMB 8775/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices were stable at RMB 9250/ton, RMB 10900/ton and RMB 9575/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY remained steady at US$ 1240/ton, US$ 1465/ton, and US$ 1275/ton, respectively.
