Screen, the manufacturer of specialist inkjet print-on-demand technology, announces an addition to its stable of high-productivity, high quality UV flatbed inkjet printers with the launch of the 150 sqm/hr Truepress Jet W3200UV HS. A higher- productivity version of the Truepress Jet W3200UV launched last year, the new machine will make its industry debut at Fespa Digital (Munich, 20-23 May, Booth B2-171), together with a number of additional new features for the device to be unveiled at the show.

The Truepress Jet W3200UV HS (for “High Speed”) is an exciting new machine that combines Screen’s renowned quality with outstanding productivity. Offering an output speed of 150sqm/hr, the Truepress Jet W3200UV HS delivers almost double the productivity of the 85sqm/hr Truepress Jet W3200UV.

As a result, Screen offers print service providers a choice of machines depending on their specific needs and with the freedom to upgrade from the 85sqm/hr model to the Truepress Jet W3200UV HS in the future, as the needs of their business grow.

A joint development between Screen and its subsidiary company Inca Digital, the Truepress Jet W3200UV HS is a six colour + WW device designed to meet the demands of the POS, signage and decor markets today with the ability to print onto a wide range of rigid and flexible media up to 3.2 x 1.6m in size and up to a maximum 50mm thickness. Using Screen’s vibrant Truepress inks including high-opacity white, light cyan and light magenta, the Truepress Jet W3200UV HS delivers high-definition, wide-colour gamut print quality with excellent resistance to the bending and cutting of a variety of print substrates.

The Truepress Jet W3200UV HS is supplied as standard with the Caldera GrandRIP+, including the EasyMEDIA option for ICC profiles. Integration to a range of other workflows are available. The printer enables tremendous flexibility for added-value applications such as lenticular and multi-layer print at an even faster print throughput. The multi-layer function enables sophisticated front/back overprinting up to eight layers, to produce quality backlit and variable day/night graphics.

“The Truepress Jet W3200UV is a very impressive machine. The 85 sqm/hr model set a new standard in quality/speed performance and the new 150 sqm/hr model raises the bar even higher”, says Bui Burke, VP Sales, Screen Europe. “We now offer four compelling Truepress Jet high quality wide-format solutions - all delivering superb flexibility, reliability and a rapid return on investment.
