Going a step forward, we would like the new government to play a major role as a facilitator and help us.”He continues, “One of our long standing demands has been to not provide TUFF subsidy or give duty benefit to used and old technology textile machinery imported from foreign countries. Mr Bhagwati adds, “The Textile Committee at CII has submitted a vision document to the government, which outlines the expectations of the Indian textile machinery industry from the government”.
