BG PET Chips prices decrease in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1175/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices remained stable and were assessed at US$ 1155/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1175/ton to US$ 1180/ton.
 
PTA prices kept unchanged in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted in the range of US$ 875/ton to US$ 880/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained steady and were assessed at US$ 870/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained stable in the range of US$ 865/ton to US$ 870/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 6050/ton to RMB 6100/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1465/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept steady and were assessed at US$ 1380/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices decreased and were assessed in the range of 56.50 cents/pound to 57.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept steady in the European international as well as domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1215/ton and € 885/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices dropped and were quoted at US$ 905/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained stable and were offered in the range of US$ 900/ton to US$ 905/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 6575/ton to RMB 6625/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers kept unchanged in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton, while talked prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 8050/ton to RMB 8100/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were offered in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of RMB 8200/ton to RMB 8250/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady trend in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1400/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1300/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices kept inert in the range of RMB 8700/ton to RMB 8750/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and DTY fell marginally to RMB 9075/ton and RMB 10850/ton, while FDY prices remained stable at RMB 9500/ton. In the export market, offers for POY and DTY declined to US$ 1215/ton and US$ 1455/ton, while FDY prices stayed steady at US$ 1260/ton.
