JX Nippon Oil & Energy restarts naphtha cracker

JX Nippon Oil and Energy, engaged in refining and marketing of petroleum and petrochemical products, has restarted its Kawasaki, Japan-based naphtha cracker.
“The naphtha cracker was restarted on May 1, 2014. It was shutdown on April 21 due to some technical issues,” a company official told fibre2fashion.
The naphtha cracker has a production capacity of 460,000 mt/year.
