FG PET Chips prices decline in Korean market

Paraxylene (PX) prices kept unchanged in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices remained stable and were offered at US$ 1195/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton.
 
PTA prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices kept steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 865/ton to US$ 870/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were offered at US$ 860/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 855/ton to US$ 860/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 6050/ton to RMB 6100/ton.
 
Ethylene prices maintained steady trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained unchanged and were offered in the range of US$ 1460/ton to US$ 1465/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained steady and were assessed at US$ 1375/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices decreased and were quoted in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in the European international as well as domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1205/ton and € 885/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices kept steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices remained steady and were assessed at US$ 905/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 895/ton to US$ 900/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices inched up and were quoted in the range of RMB 6650/ton to RMB 6700/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips declined in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers dropped in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton, while talked prices were offered in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices surged and were quoted in the range of RMB 8275/ton to RMB 8325/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1150/ton to US$ 1190/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 7850/ton to RMB 7900/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1405/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1305/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 8650/ton to RMB 8700/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY increased to RMB 8950/ton, while DTY and FDY prices kept inert at RMB 10700/ton and RMB 9300/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY surged to US$ 1200/ton, while DTY and FDY prices fell to US$ 1435/ton and US$ 1235/ton, respectively.
