Short-term orders and last-minute series were the highlights of Tissu Premier Collections, although exhibitors also offered summer 2015 products to give buyers ample time to finetune or rework next season’s collections. The May 2014 show saw a greater willingness among its exhibitors to meet new market demands. Exhibitors have noticed a rise in split orders with faster turnarounds. They have had to become extremely flexible and responsive, and be able to handle extra-short-term orders, with lower minimum orders, colours on demand, near-instant product exchanges and alterations, and facilitated sampling and cross-section orders.
