Autex World Textile Conference begins from today

The 14th Autex World Textile Conference will be held in Bursa, one of the hubs of textile production in Turkey between May 26 and 28, 2014.

The Autex Conference provides an excellent opportunity and perfect scientific atmosphere to bring together the scientists, researchers, industrialists, experts, engineers and students from universities, research institutes and industry from Europe and all over the world to present and discuss the latest scientific and technological achievements on textile and clothing technology, textile materials, new technologies in textile, fashion and marketing.

The Autex World Textile Conference is a good opportunity for the participants to meet with world class scientists and researchers. This opens up the way to the future international scientific cooperation and working together in joint scientific and technological projects.

The plenary session speakers include - Prof. Dr. Dominique Adolphe, ENSISA, France on Electrospinning development at LPMT from the basic to innovative products; Prof. Dr. Paul Kiekens, Ghent University, Belgium on Nanoparticles for Textiles and Textile Manufacturing; Prof. Dr. Chokri Cherif, Technical University of Dresden, Germany on Multi-material Design and Textile Constructions for Lightweight Structures

The conference is organized by Uludag University Textile Engineering Department, which was founded in 1976, as the second textile engineering department in Turkey.
