Powerloom products BSM in Ahmedabad from June 26

The Regional Office of the Textile Commissioner, Ahmedabad, jointly with the Gujarat Garment Manufacturers’ Association (GGMA), Ahmedabad, is organizing a Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM) for powerloom products at Ahmedabad from June 26 to 28, 2014.
 
Organizing Buyer-Seller Meets is one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, for promoting the growth and development of the textile industry.
 
The BSM, to be organized as part of the 23rd (GGMA) National Garment Fair at the Gujarat University Exhibition Hall, is aimed at providing opportunity to the powerloom sector to market their fabric/products at regional and cluster levels.
 
The National Garment Fair, 2014 is one of the largest trade fairs for apparel brands and retailers and will be a platform to generate advancement of fabric production for the garment industry.
 
Over 350 exhibitors, which include manufacturers, distributors, traders, garment retailers, franchisees, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), are expected to participate in the 23rd edition of the fair.
 
The event is expected to be attended by more than 25,000 trade visitors from across the country and would provide finest opportunities for exhibitors to establish their brand name.
 
It is expected that the participants will be from small scale sector having SSI registration from various parts of the country.
 
The Regional Office of the Textile Commissioner has proposed that 30 stalls, on first come first allot basis, would be allotted to powerloom units/entrepreneurs having SSI registration.
