TTRI and UP-TEX sign MoU on textile collaboration

The Taiwan Textile Research Institute (TTRI) and the France-based UP-TEX have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on textile sector collaboration in Paris last week, according to a Taiwan Today report.
As per the MoU, both TTRI and UP-TEX agreed to boost bilateral personnel exchanges to promote joint marketing, production, R&D and technology transfer.
The signing of the MoU was the highlight at this year’s annual bilateral Industrial Cooperation Consultation Meeting, organized by the Industrial Development Bureau under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and its French counterpart the Directorate-General of Competitiveness, Industry and Services (DGCIS).
The signing of the MoU is expected to pave way towards greater textile industry-related cooperation between Taiwan and France.
