This summer, Cyrus Artisan Rugs announces the newest partner and design house to be featured: Ralph Lauren Home. Beginning in June, Cyrus will carry a large selection of Ralph Lauren’s gorgeous collections of designer area rugs. Ralph Lauren is a name synonymous with American chic and style, and his collections of area rugs exceed expectations. Cyrus will carry Ralph Lauren rugs ranging from transitional, contemporary, and southwestern / tribal styles, in a variety of color palettes to suit any design taste.

Ralph Lauren began his over four decade long design career in the realm of men’s fashion. In the 1970’s, Ralph Lauren’s brand Polo began to have major success from his signature preppy look that would help define classic men’s style during the 1980’s. The success of his fashion lines led him to subsequently broaden his brand and step into the world of interior design.

Ralph Lauren has said, “Everything I do, everything I’ve ever done, is about what I love and the taste level I believe in,” and his line of rug designs is a testament to this statement. His home furnishing line, Ralph Lauren Home, clearly portrays his personal design philosophy and vision of American style. Just like his clothing lines, Ralph Lauren Home’s collections of fine designer rugs range from Wasp to Western in style and the attention to detail in the patterns and construction is impeccable.

All of the designer rugs Cyrus Artisan Rugs will feature from the Ralph Lauren Home Collection are handmade and hand knotted in some of the top weaving centers of the world. Some of the stunning pieces featured at Cyrus from the Ralph Lauren Home collection include the “Carson” design, which is hand knotted in India from premium, top-quality wool and is modeled after an eighteenth century Bokhara print. One of the contemporary pieces is the “Alistair Tiles” design, handmade in Nepal from wool and viscose. Each of the Ralph Lauren rugs featured at Cyrus' large Minneapolis showroom are southwestern, tribal, or contemporary in style, and embody the soul of Ralph Lauren’s design philosophy.
