Asian PTA prices rise on firm demand

In S E Asian market selling offers for PTA increased by US$ 10/ton and were offered in the range of US$ 980/ton to US$ 990/ton. In Indian market, selling offers for imported PTA also surged by US$ 10/ton and were quoted in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 960/ton.

In the week ending June 14, 2014, selling offers for PTA increased in Asian market, due to limited product availability in the region. In the F E Asian markets, PTA was offered in the range of US$ 945/ton to US$ 950/ton while in the S E Asian market, PTA price was assessed at US$ 980/ton.

In the same week, in Indian market, selling offers for imported PTA were quoted in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In Chinese market, selling offers for PTA prices were in the range of US$ 935/ton to US$ 940/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, selling offers for PTA were in the range RMB 7,100/ton to RMB 7, 150/ton.
