Ethylene prices decline in European international market

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices kept stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1335/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices remained inert and were assessed at US$ 1315/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1335/ton.
 
PTA prices stayed stable in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices kept unchanged and were quoted at US$ 960/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market surged and were offered in the range of US$ 965/ton to US$ 970/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices were stable in the range of RMB 7400/ton to RMB 7450/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1415/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept inert and were quoted at US$ 1370/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were offered in the range of 54.50 cents/pound to 55.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices declined in the European international market to US$ 1280/ton, while they kept inert in domestic markets at € 1015/ton.
 
MEG prices inched down in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices declined and were quoted at US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1010/ton to US$ 1015/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained steady in the range of RMB 7450/ton to RMB 7500/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1335/ton to US$ 1375/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1345/ton to US$ 1385/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers were steady in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton, while talked prices were in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 9150/ton to RMB 9200/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices stayed steady in the range of US$ 1150/ton to US$ 1190/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were inert in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices kept stable and were assessed in the range of RMB 8750/ton to RMB 8800/ton.
 
PSF prices kept inert in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices remained steady at US$ 1410/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices kept stable at US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 9450/ton to RMB 9500/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices kept inert and were assessed at RMB 10300/ton, RMB 11450/ton and RMB 10450/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY remained steady at US$ 1410/ton, US$ 1560/ton and US$ 1415/ton, respectively.
