PSF prices rise in SE Asian & Chinese domestic markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices kept inert in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1335/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices remained steady and were assessed at US$ 1315/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market kept unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1335/ton.
 
PTA prices declined marginally in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 980/ton to US$ 985/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were quoted at US$ 955/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market dropped and were assessed in the range of US$ 955/ton to US$ 960/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 7400/ton to RMB 7450/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices kept stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1415/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained steady and were assessed at US$ 1370/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were assessed in the range of 55.50 cents/pound to 56.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept steady in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were offered at US$ 1280/ton and € 1015/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were offered at US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices kept steady in the range of RMB 7450/ton to RMB 7500/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips kept inert in the range of US$ 1335/ton to US$ 1375/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1345/ton to US$ 1385/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers were stable in the range of US$ 1350/ton to US$ 1390/ton, while talked prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 9150/ton to RMB 9200/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1150/ton to US$ 1190/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices stayed steady in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 8750/ton to RMB 8800/ton.
 
PSF prices increased in the Asian region.  In the F E Asian market, PSF prices surged to US$ 1410/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices increased to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 9450/tonto RMB 9500/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained steady and were quoted at RMB 10300/ton, RMB 11450/ton and RMB 10450/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY remained steady at US$ 1405/ton, US$ 1555/ton and US$ 1410/ton, respectively.
