BG PET Chips prices increase in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1375/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices inched up and were quoted at US$ 1360/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1335/ton.
 
PTA prices showed varied trend in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 975/ton to US$ 980/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained steady and were assessed at US$ 955/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market plunged and were offered in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 955/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 7300/ton to RMB 7350/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices increased and were offered at US$ 1385/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were offered in the range of 56.00 cents/pound to 56.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices moved up in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were offered at US$ 1290/ton and € 1020/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices surged in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices increased and were quoted at US$ 1000/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices rose and were offered in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices kept steady in the range of RMB 7500/ton to RMB 7550/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips increased in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1395/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1365/ton to US$ 1405/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton, while talked prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 9400/ton to RMB 9450/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1190/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were offered in the range of RMB 9200/ton to RMB 9250/ton.
 
PSF prices kept inert in the Asian region.  In the F E Asian market, PSF prices remained steady at US$ 1410/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices increased to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 9350/ton to RMB 9350/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and DTY increased to RMB 10500/ton and RMB 11550/ton, while FDY prices remained steady at RMB 10450/ton. In the export market, offers for POY and DTY increased to US$ 1435/ton and US$ 1570/ton, while FDY prices were steady at US$ 1410/ton.
