PSF prices drop marginally in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices inch up in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1455/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices improved and were quoted at US$ 1440/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market moved up and were quoted in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1410/ton.
 
PTA increased in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices rose and were offered in the range of US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices increased and were quoted at US$ 975/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market kept steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 955/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 7350/ton to RMB 7400/ton.
 
Ethylene prices kept inert in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained stable and were offered at US$ 1385/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices kept steady and were assessed in the range of 56.00 cents/pound to 56.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept unchanged in the European international market to US$ 1290/ton, and increased in domestic markets and were assessed at US$ 1290/ton and € 1040/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices went up and were quoted at US$ 1030/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1025/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7550/ton to RMB 7600/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips moved up in the range of US$ 1365/ton to US$ 1405/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1375/ton to US$ 1415/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers surged in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton, while talked prices increased in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 9550/ton to RMB 9600/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices moved up and were quoted in the range of RMB 9400/ton to RMB 9450/ton.
 
PSF prices declined marginally in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices dropped to US$ 1410/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices declined to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 10025/ton to RMB 10075/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices went up and were quoted at RMB 10600/ton, RMB 11700/ton and RMB 10650/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY surged to US$ 1455/ton, US$ 1590/ton, and US$ 1440/ton, respectively.
