Munich Fabric Start to be held first time at MVG Museum

Selection open the 15/16 Autumn/Winter season for Fabrics, Additionals as well as Denim & Flats. Due to rising demand from both exhibitors and visitors the so far biggest and most important VIEW will be held at the Munich Transport Museum (MVG Museum) for the first time.

As a preview event for MUNICH FABRIC START, VIEW Premium Selection has provided an exclusive outlook on innovations and new items in the premium fabric and accessories segment area since 2008.

Boasting a total of 300 selected PreCollections of international top-notch weaving mills and findings and a completely booked-up hall, this season’s VIEW Premium Selection exceeds all organisers’ expectations.

In addition to numerous new exhibitors the companies already represented at the previous event will also be presenting a bigger selection of collections. This will allow trade visitors to browse almost double the amount of collections compared to the last season.

Exhibiting next to many power-house manufacturers – including numerous new exhibitors – will be: Cotonificio Albini, Deveaux, Taroni, Lyria, Progetto Uno, Blue Royal, Bonotto, Lisa, Ermenegildo Zegna, Agnona, Mahlia Kent, Brunello, Takisada, Liberty and Fauck.

New product worlds are also featured in the enlarged accessories segment with such market leaders as: Knopf Schäfer, Bodo Jagdberg, Union Knopf, Prym Fashion, Knopf & Knopf, Frank Strathmann and Prisco Studios.View provides an additional presentation forum, especially for the denim and sportswear industries, in order to showcase the innovations resulting from the now continuous developments from denim brands.

The line-up of exhibitors is suitably high in calibre including the likes of: Uco-Raymond, Itv-Denim, Tavex, Bossa Denim, Italdenim, Pordenone Olimpias, Tejidos Royo, Textil Santanderina, Wolbo, Maibom, Cotton Styles, Van Delden, Supernova, Nuova Tessilbrenta - Ntb and Velcorex.

As a preview trade fair VIEW provides exclusive insights into the innovations and trends for the coming season. At the Trendforum the pre-trends in fabrics, findings and colours for the 15/16 Autumn/Winter season are staged, serving trade visitors as a valuable and comprehensive source of inspiration at the earliest point in time. Organisers expect the Who’s Who of the European fashion sector including buyers and designers from renowned manufacturers such as Hugo Boss, Escada, Michalsky, Bogner, Tommy Hilfiger, MAC, Laurèl, René Lezard, Marc Cain and Windsor.
