Opening next week, Intertextile Pavilion at the Shenzhen International Trade Fair for Apparel Fabrics and Accessories expands in size by 33% to 30,000 sqm, with nearly 700 exhibitors from eight countries and regions taking part.

A wide range of high-quality fabrics for ladieswear, casual wear, shirting and functional wear / sportswear, as well as accessories will be presented by exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and the UK. Held from 10 to 12 July, the fair will take place in halls 2, 3 and 4 of the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.

One of the highlight’s of this year’s fair is the debut appearance of the Taiwan Pavilion, organised by the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF). 12 exhibitors specialising mostly in knitted and functional fabrics, as well as lace and embroideries will be looking to take advantage of the growing potential in the Southern China textiles market. In addition to the debut of the Taiwan group, pavilions from India and Korea will also feature.

Four domestic pavilions add to product variety at the fair
The four domestic pavilions at this year’s fair will ensure buyers have access to a large selection of products. Three pavilions from Shaoxing in Zhejiang province will house over 100 exhibitors, with a large focus by these suppliers on man-made products. And more than 60 exhibitors will feature in the Shengze Pavilion where a range of man-made fibres and silk-like fabrics can be found.

Trend Forum and concurrent events provide more value for buyers
As well as the wide range of fabrics and accessories available to buyers, they can also discover the latest fashions and styles in the Trend Forum located in the central area of hall 2. Exhibitors’ fabrics and accessories have been used to illustrate the trends for Spring / Summer 2015 in four themes: Smart City, Aesthetic Fantasy, Midnight Palace and Fascinating Tribe. In total, 33 exhibitors have submitted more than 500 fabric and accessories samples.

Buyers to Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen can also benefit from the wider range of products on offer thanks to the concurrent fashion garment fair: the 14th China International Fashion Brand Fair – Shenzhen. This will take place in halls 1 and 9, while a fashion show will also be held in hall 5.

Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd; the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT; and the Shenzhen Garment Industry Association.
