Cyrus Artisan Rugs, the largest purveyor of handmade area rugs in Minnesota and the Midwest, unveils multiple new collections of transitional and contemporary rugs.

Beginning in July, Cyrus Rugs will feature more than four new collections of exclusive, one-of-a-kind area rugs in their transitional and contemporary lines. Expertly hand knotted by skilled artisans in the great weaving centers of the world like India and Nepal, these new rugs are sleek and sexy additions to Cyrus’ already impressive collections of rugs for the contemporary home.

The new contemporary rugs featured at Cyrus beginning in July are all handmade pieces, using premium wool and luxurious silk for enduring quality and beauty. The prominent new rug on Cyrus’ remodeled website is the gorgeous Sea Scape CL-2 rug from the stunning Coral Collection. Each artistic piece in the Coral Collection is hand knotted in India using the best quality wool and silk, with a soft, thick pile finish. These unique rugs highlight a stunning coral design with gold accents and rich visual texture.

Another featured rug is the P-23 design from the gorgeous Atlas Organic Silk Collection. Again, handcrafted in India, this group of unique contemporary rugs uses the finest sari silk and has an over-dyed finish. These pieces feature technicolor hues that highlight the Ikat and abstract kaleidoscope motifs which were inspired by nineteenth century textiles.

Each of these extremely rare and unique rugs are featured on both Cyrus’ online store and in their large Bloomington showroom.

Cyrus Artisan Rugs’ showroom is over 13,500 square feet with an inventory of over 3,000 handmade artisan rugs. Design lovers and residents of the greater Minneapolis area should check out these truly one-of-a-kind, artisanal carpets before while they are on exhibit, and prepare to get inspired.
